Low fat Applesauce Chocolate Brownies

Low fat Chocolate Brownies are for all those who are diet conscious. Most of your mouths would water and you’ll definitely prepare this simple and delicious treat with all ingredients at your hand. Warm chocolate brown cookies for cold and frosty days can fix your children busy in play. You can serve them in snacks and your children will love them in their lunch-boxes. Ingredients 1/2 cup all purpose flour 1/2 cup Dutch process Cocoa 1/2 teaspoon baking powder 1/2 cup sugar 1/8 teaspoon salt 2 tbsp canola oil 4 ounces of unsweetened applesauce 2 teaspoons of Vanilla extract 1 egg, lightly beaten 2 egg whites You can use whisked cream (400-450gms) instead of eggs. Preparation 1. In a preheated oven (350 degrees) spray 8-inch by 8 inch baking pan with cooking spray. 2. In a bowl whisk flour, cocoa, baking powder, sugar and salt till you get a soft smooth texture. 3. In a medium sized bowl combine oil, applesauce, vanilla, egg and egg-whites. 4. Gradually stir in dry ingredients into wet ingredients until well combined. 5. Pour the mixture into baking pan and bake for (at least 20 minutes) until it begins to scrap from sides. 6. Cool the final product in the pan and cut it into desired shapes with a cookie cutter or simply cut the pan brownies into small squares. Via: LowFatCooking
